Digital Cameras Top the Holiday Wish List

According to the latest ChangeWave Research Holiday Spending survey, consumers say that they'll be spending more this holiday season, with electronics purchases in general benefiting from the uptrend. Overall, digital cameras is the most desired consumer electronics item, with 27% of those surveyed saying a digital camera in the No. 1 item on their holiday wish list. As far as camera brands, Canon digital cameras topped the list of those planning to purchase cameras for themselves or as a holiday or Christmas gift.

Other consumer electronics benefactors for this year's holiday shopping season seems to be Apple iPod (sales haven't diminished at all since last year), laptop computers and high-definition TVs.
